Dental Service to expecting teen mothers

Today was a very gratifying experience. Today I was given the opportunity to participate as part of the North Texas Hispanic Dental Association, to screen and give basic oral health to Teen Mothers and their young children. It is amazing to see how much of an impact our profession can make, and at the same time to realize that we are far from where we need to be. I had the opportunity to guide a few students from the Baylor College of Dentistry in performing basic check-ups and giving advice to the teen mothers.
